Tip: Before Choosing a Business Name

When choosing a business name consider this.  A professional and modern company will have a website, a lot of people register their company, file the fictitious business names, or even the costly trade marks, pay the fees for all their licences only to find out that their business name is already taken on the Internet.  That’s right someone in the world has already registered your domain name, so what do you do?  You may try variations of the business name, abbreviations but there is a good chance those might be taken too.  I’ve had had clients who had an extremely tough time obtaining a domain name that would work together with their business identity.  So it would be a good idea to search for the corresponding domain name while you search for your companies name.  I actually search for the domain name first before naming a company, once that domain name is available only then will I register or name the company.  If you can’t register the exact name of your company then try as close as possible, unless for some reason you want them to be different.
