It’s of benefit for prospective clients to have an overview of methods.
Research and brainstorming
I spend some time considering your answers, and then begin the second stage - research and brainstorming. What do I take into account here? Your competition, trends in the market, what sets you apart, your history, your future, your current brand, and the one you aspire towards.
Again, it’s important to provide as much information as possible in the logo design brief / questionnaire, to allow for a comprehensive approach towards research and brainstorming.
Rendering / prototype design
This stage involves taking my ideas and transferring them to computer, and into my design software. The number of logo variations you receive depends upon how many effective outcomes I believe there to be.
Creative presentation / client feedback
Your options are sent via PDF file, as polished ideas. Now it’s over to you to spend some time thinking about what I’ve provided. I always welcome questions or possible suggestions.
Finishing touches / revisions
Following your review, I’ll then either finalize the identity, or make any revisions suggested. My main aim is to create a corporate identity that works for you, works for your business, and works for many years to come, so there’ll always be flexibility in my process.
File creation and supply
Once finalized, I create vector artwork and send files via email. I supply original files for use in print and online. If you have any specific file requirements, just ask.
